MOUCHE COLLECTIVE

Filmed for the Gothenburg fashion and art house Mouche Collective, a creative hub where designers are given a platform, in their turn of the century location dubbed only ‘The Apartment’, Rare created a story of boredom within beauty. Playing with light and time the film showcases Mouche Collectives collection of limited edition, sourced clothing, art and homeware. 

Filmed with international model Elin Fredv, Rare collaborated with the curators in house stylists to create looks showcase the lifestyle of a ‘Mouche girl’.

BANGKOK MODERN

Shot on location in the back streets of Thailand’s capital, this film takes inspiration from the juxtaposition of artisan, bold fabrics and the clean contemporary lines of its surroundings. 

Creative, art direction and styling all in house ‘Bangkok Modern’ features exclusively Thai models and designers spotlighting the authenticity of the cities talent. 

Both film and stills were featured as editorials in Phoenix magazine print and digital. 

Kabukichō Lights

Taking inspiration from and shot in Tokyo infamous entertainment district Kabukichō, ‘Kabukichō Lights’ takes a lighter look styling the film on the districts playful and edgy energy. Shooting with Tokyo based model Mia Valentine the shoot was authentic to its theme with her taking us on a tour through the most colourful and fun areas of the district.  

In keeping with the films edgy, authentic vibe it was shot multi-platform using digital, super 8 mm film and high 8.
